Barry
Cesafsky founded CES Partners, Ltd. and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer.
He has been privileged to be a partner in two major
executive search firms. Now in his twentieth year of executive
search, Barry has developed a boutique search firm that is large enough to meet the needs of an increasingly sophisticated healthcare client, yet small enough to provide highly personalized service. This combination produces
professional searches with a personal touch. |

He
has been successful in recruiting to his own firm, professionals who believe
that service is foremost and no detail is too small. This philosophy has resulted
in successful searches with very satisfied clients and happy placements.
Barry's
own professional career has taken him up through the ranks. His first management
position was at the University of Chicago Hospitals. His family ties naturally
drew Barry to the health care field. His father was a family practice physician
and his mother a nurse. After serving his administrative residency at St.
Elizabeth Medical Center, a large medical center in Northern Kentucky, Barry
remained there for seven years. His early responsibilities included management
of human resources for a large and growing work force. He was later
promoted to Vice President with responsibility for strategic planning and
legal affairs.
He
is a board member of a Midwestern Catholic-sponsored health system and is
a Diplomate in the American College of Health Care Executives. In 1996, he
was appointed to the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Examiners.
He also is a member of the Catholic Health Association of the United States.
He belongs to several other professional organizations including: American
Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, World at Work, Healthcare
Financial Management Association, Society for Human Resource Management and
the Institute for Diversity in Health Management.
Barry
attended DePauw University and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago
with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. He obtained his Master's degree in
Hospital and Health Administration from Xavier University. He has served as
President of his Graduate Program Alumni Association.
He
met his wife, Marcia, while they were at DePauw University. The proud parents
of four children, one boy and three girls, Barry and Marcia live in Chicago,
Illinois and enjoy traveling, sports, community and church activities. Barry
is a competitive sport enthusiast. He especially likes golf and racquetball
and often works out at the Union League Club of Chicago where he serves on
their Board of Directors.
