Ron Damasaukas has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, having served in both national and statewide capacities covering a broad range of policy, advocacy and leadership issues. He has written and spoken about the future of healthcare, consulted to address strategic and operational issues, and has partnered in the development of healthcare focused software.
Ron has a deep commitment to solving the problems faced by hospitals, with an emphasis on inner city and rural hospitals, with their over-abundance of government sponsored patients, workforce difficulties and resource limitations. |

Ron served for nearly 20 years as a Group Vice President with the Illinois Hospital Association, where he led a team addressing health policy issues, membership recruitment and retention, constituencies, ranging from small and rural hospitals to teaching facilities, and education and training. He was also the President of the Illinois Hospital Research and Education Foundation, managed numerous federal and state grant funded projects, and introduced technologies designed to improve access to services and reduce overall costs.
As a founding partner in a software firm, Ron authored strategic and business plans, coordinated venture capital strategies, conducted new business development and managed all marketing, sales and customer service activities. While working as a consultant to a major healthcare workforce development project, Ron helped to modify core curriculums for healthcare related jobs, advanced relationship development among social service agencies seeking to place qualified candidates, and revamped the project focus to reflect economic realities.
Ron’s wealth of healthcare experience makes him an ideal addition to the CES Partners team. He is not only knowledgeable across the gamut of healthcare issues, but has a wide array of relationships among healthcare leadership from the smallest to the largest organizations, from integrated delivery networks to Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers. Ron has a firm commitment to employing creative solutions to solve complex problems. He has a strong social conscience, a belief in collaborative efforts, and a tenacious dedication to getting the job done. He is a board member of Housing Opportunities for Women. Ron earned his Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from Loyola University in Chicago.
